Serena

Dictionary of Greek and Roman Geography

SERE´NA a town in Lower Pannonia, on the south bank of the Danube, on the road from Poetovium to Mursa. ( It. Hieros. p. 562; Geog. Rav. 4.19, where it is called Serenis; Tab. Peut., where its name is Serona.) It is thought to have occupied the site of the modern Moszlavina.
