SUBUR(Σούβουρ, Ptol. 2.6.17), a town of the Laeëtani in Hispania Tarraconensis lying E. of Tarraco. (Mela, 2.6.) Ptolemy (l. c.) ascribes it to the Cosetani, and Pliny (Plin. Nat. 3.3. s. 4) to the Ilergetes. It is mentioned in an inseription. (Grnter, p. 414.) Variously identified with Sitgesand Villanueva.
