SUESSETA´NI a people of Hispania Tarraconensis, mentioned only by Livy (Liv. 25.34, 28.24, 34.20, 39.42) and especially in connection with the Sedetani (or Edetani). Marca ( Hisp. 2.9. 4) takes them for a branch of the Cossetani; and Ukert (ii. pt. 1. p. 318) seeks them near the Celtiberi, Lacetani, and Ilergetes.
