Dictionary of Greek and Roman Geography

UTII(Οὔτιοι), one of the nations belonging to the fourteenth satrapy of the Persian empire (Hdt. 3.93), which was armed in the same manner as the Pactyes (Id. 7.68), and, according to Bobrik's conjecture, perhaps dwelt in Pactyica. ( Geog. des Herod. p. 181.)
