peregrīnor ātus, ārī, dep.

peregrinus, to sojourn in a strange land, be an alien, travel about : totā Asiā: in alienā civitate.—Fig., to go abroad, travel about, roam, wander : haec studia pernoctant nobiscum, peregrinantur: in infinitatem omnem, roam through all infinity.—To be abroad, be a stranger, sojourn : vitam sicuti peregrinantes transiere, S.: philosophia quae adhuc peregrinari Romae videbatur.
