to move apart, put aside, remove, separate: vos semotae, nos soli, T.: voce praeconis a liberis semoveri.—Fig., to part, separate, remove: Strato ab eā disciplinā semovendus est, i. e. not to be classed with that school: voluptatem semovendam esse.
