ter+ūncia, of three twelfths of an as, a quarter as ; hence, a trifle : nullus teruncius, not a farthing .—Of an inheritance, in the phrase, ex teruncio (heres), heir to one fourth of the estate : fecit (heredem) me ex teruncio.
