the Aeolians , orig. in Thessaly, later in the Peloponnesus, on the coast of Asia Minor, in Lesbos, and other places, Varr. L. L. 5, § 25; 102 Müll.; id. R. R. 3, 1, 6; 3, 12, 6; Cic. Fl. 27, 64. Their more usual name is Aeolii; v. Aeolius.
