Ăgănippē, ēs, f., = Ἀγανίππη.

I A fountain in Boeotia , on Mount Helicon , sacred to the Muses , and giving poetical inspiration : Aonie Aganippe, Verg. E. 10, 12; Claud. Ep. ad Ser. 61.—Hence,
