I a town in Latium , not far from Casinum , now Aquino , the birthplace of the poet Juvenal, Cic. Phil. 2, 41; id. Fam. 16, 24; Plin. 3, 5, 9, § 63; Juv. 3, 319; cf. Mann. Ital. I. 674.
