a daughter of Miletus and Cyanee , who fell in love with her brother Caunus , and , being repulsed , was changed to a fountain , Ov. M. 9, 452; cf. Theocr. Id. 7, 114; acc. to Ov. A. A. 1, 283, and Hyg. Fab. 243, she hanged herself.
