Căsĭlīnum, i, n.,

I a town in Campania , on the Vulturnus , near the ancient Capua. In its place stands the present Capua, Liv. 22, 15, 3; 23, 17, 8 sq., and 19, 1 sq.; Cic. Att. 16, 8, 1; id. Phil. 2, 40, 102; Caes. B. C. 3, 21; Plin. 3, 5, 9, § 70.—
