a small island off the coast of Lucania, near Paestum , now Licosa : Leucosiamque petit, tepidique rosaria Paesti, Ov. M. 15, 708; called also Leucothĕa, Mel. 2, 7, 18 (Jahn reads Leucasia, Plin. 3, 7, 13, § 85).
