Mĕnaenĭus or Mĕnaenus, a, um,

adj., of or from Menae (Μέναι), a city of Sicily , now Mineo : Xenon Menaenus, Cic. Verr. 2, 3, 22, § 55.—In plur.: Mĕnaeni , ōrum, m., the inhabitants of Menae , Cic. Verr. 2, 3, 43, § 102; also written Mĕ-nanīni , Plin. 3, 8, 14, § 91.
