I a son of Aeolus , brother of Sisyphus , who imitated lightning with burning torches , and was on that account hurled into Tartarus by a thunderbolt from Jupiter , Hyg. Fab. 60; 61; 250; Verg. A. 6, 585 Serv.; Claud. in Rufin. 2, 514; Epigr. ap. Sphaer. Archim. 18.
