the equal distribution of the powers of nature : confugis ad aequilibritatem; sic enim ἰσονομίαν, si placet, appellemus, Cic. N. D. 1, 39, 109 (cf. id. ib. 19, 50, 1: ἰσονομίαν appellat Epicurus, id est, aequabilem tributionem)
