affording nourishment , nutrilious , nourishing (perh. only in Varr.): lac, Varr. R. R. 2, 11, 2: casei, id. ib. 2, 11, 2, § 3.— Pass. of that which readily grows or fattens: ita pulli alibiliores fiunt, Varr. R. R. 3, 9.
