emprosthŏtŏnĭa, ae, f., = ἐμπροσθοτονία,

I a disease in which the limbs are drawn forward and stiffen , Cael. Aur. Acut. 3, 6, 61.—The same called emprosthŏtŏnos (=ἐμπροσθότονος) morbus, id. ib. 3, 6, 65.
