ĕpī̆trĭtos, a, um, adj., = ἐπίτριτος, containing four thirds.

I In gen. (pure Lat. sesquitertius), in the relation of four to three , Gell. 18, 14, 5; Macr. Somn. Scip. 2, 1, § 15 al.; cf. as fin.
