a viscous humor , rheum , that collects in the corners of the eyes , Plin. 25, 13, 96, § 155; cf.: gramiae oculorum sunt vitia, quas alii glamas vocant, Paul. ex Fest. p. 96 Müll. N. cr.; cf. Non. 119, 18, and v. gramiosus.
