lānĭcĭus, a, um, adj. [lana], of wool, woolly, fleecy: grex, Arn. 5, 174.—Hence, subst.: lānĭcĭum or -tĭum, ii, n. (anteclass. collat. form lānĭcĭa or -tĭa, ae, f., Laber. ap. Non. 212, 22; Com. Fragm. v. 67 Rib.; post-class. collat. form lānĭcĭes or -tĭes, ēi, f., Tert. adv. Marc. ap. Carm. 2, 24), wool.
