lōrum, i (lōrus, i, m., Petr. 57, 8; Ap. Met. 3, 14, 4; Schol. ap. Juv. 6, 480), n. [for vlorum, from a ground-form vlārom; Gr. εὔληρα, reins; root perh. val-; cf. volvo], a thong.
