all-bearing , all-producing (poet. and in post-class. prose); so, per terras omniparentes, Lucr. 2, 706: terra, Verg. A. 6, 595; Ap. Met. 6, 10, 20; dea Syria, id. ib. 8, 25, 12 (but in id. Mund. p. 67, 12, the correct read. is omnia parentis).
