that holds everywhere , universal , general (a word formed by Quint. as a transl. of the Gr. καθολικός, joined with universalis), Quint. 2, 13, 14.—Hence, adv.: perpĕtŭālĭter , permanently (opp. temporaliter), Arn. in Psa. 121.
