pōtŭlentus (pōcŭl-), a, um, adj. [potus].

I That may be drunk , drinkable (rare but class.).— Subst. plur. : pōtŭlen-ta , ōrum, n., drinkables , drinks : gustatus habitat in eā parte oris, quā esculentis et potulentis iter natura patefecit, Cic. N. D. 2, 56, 141: esculenta omnia et potulenta, Gell. 17, 11, 2; cf. Q. Scaevola ap. Gell. 4, 1, 17.—
