I To think over , bethink one’s self of , be mindful of a thing (as the result of the reminisci, the recalling of it to memory), to call to mind , remember , recollect (freq. and class.; cf. recognosco): quod jam pueri ita celeriter res innumerabiles arripiant, ut eas non tum primum arripere videantur, sed reminisci et recordari. Haec sunt Platonis fere, Cic. Sen. 21, 78; cf. id. Tusc. 1, 24, 57: sed parum est me hoc meminisse: spero etiam te, qui oblivisci nihil soles, nisi injurias, reminiscentem recordari, id.
