COLO´NIA TRAJA´NA is only mentioned in the Antonine Itinerary and the Table. It is on the road from Colonia Agrippinensis ( Cologne) to Lugdunum ( Leyden). Colonia Trajana is between Vetera and Burginatium. It is agreed that the place is Kellenor Kelln, near Clèves, or Clèvesitself, as some suppose.
