DOEANTEIUS CAMPUSS tephanus B. (s. v. Δοίαντος πεδίον) places it in Phrygia: the name came from Doeas. The situation of the plain is unknown.
Apollonius Rhodius (2.370, &100.989, &c.) places a Δοιάντιον πεδίονat the mouth of the Thermodon in Pontus, where the Amazons dwelled.
