Frūtis, is (Etrusc. form Fruti;

v. in the foll.), f. [an Etruscan modification of the Gr. Ἀφροδίτη], an Etruscan name of Venus : Veneri matri, quae Frutis dicitur, Sol. 2, 14.—Hence: Frutinal , ālis, n.: templum Veneris Fruti, Paul. ex Fest. p. 90 Müll.
