II Trop., rhet. t. t., = προπαρασκευή, of an orator, who prepares the minds of his hearers for what he has further to say, a preparation , premunition : sine ullā praemunitione orationis, Cic. de Or. 2, 75, 304; 3, 53, 204; Quint. 9, 2, 17.
