Still Alley

Still Court or Alley" in Strype, ed. 1720, I. ii. 109.

It seems to have been called " Steel Alley " (q.v.) in 1569.

Site has been rebuilt for business purposes.

Probably name derived from the sign.

2) West out of Bishopsgate Street, in Bishopsgate Ward Without (O. and M 1677-Elmes, 1831).

The site is now occupied by Liverpool Street Station.
