CORA´XICI MONTES(Mela, 1.19.3; Plin. Nat. 6.9. s. 10, 6.12. s. 15; Mart. Cap. 100.6; ὁ Κόραξ ὄρος, Ptol. 5.9. § § 14, 15, 18), the western part of the chain of the Caucasus to the N. of Colchis. It was the source, according to Ptolemy, of the river Cambyses; according to Mela and Pliny, of the Cyrus and Cambyses.
