PAPPUA MONS(Παππούα, Procop. B. V. 2.4,7), the inaccessible mountain country in the interior of Numidia, where the conquest of Africa was completed by Belisarius, in the spring of A.D. 534, and where Gelimer, the last of the Vandal kings, was taken.
